Hi,

I am getting the following error in the Calendar Settings section at the bottom of the page.

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array (http://www.miramesa.com/wp-admin/function.call-user-func-array)]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'Array' was given in /home/mmdotcom/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 339

Also my calendar page is loading really slow now and sometimes it does not even open up and less I refresh it...

http://www.miramesa.com/calendar/

Anybody have any ideas of what I need to do?

Thanks,

Doug

Make sure you configure the calendar to use the same database as WP.

This is a WP error (not the calendar). I'm going to move this to the WP section of the forums where someone with more knowledge about WP may be able to help. You may also try WP for help.

Looks like ve9gra beat me to the answer (again). :)

I have been using it for the last 2 years on the site with no errors.

Mouse-over pop-ups take the longest to generate. If you are too slow, try disabling them.

I think I figured out the slow issue... just not the error problem.

When I logged in to modify the dates from this post: http://www.easyphpcalendar.com/forums/showthread.php?p=35330#post35330 I accidentally changed the dates from 2009 - 20011 instead of 2011 and I think that caused the slow down :tounge_sm

Thanks!

Are you talking about the integration plugin where WP will display the Setup and Event Managers inside of the WP Admin? If so, that plugin is not supported. It was created for WP pre-2.3 (by an external party) and has never been maintained since.

I cannot recommend its use.

This does not help me a bit... Could you please be a little more detailed on getting the error fixed?

Thanks

Since this is a WP error, have you asked them what this error message means?

I have not asked yet. Everything seems to be working fine, except that it shows an error in the admin section. I can still add events and nothing seems to be affected... so I am not too worried about it.

Thanks for the help...

Doug

It seems like lots of users are getting this kind of error. I would be nice if someone already had the answer why we are getting this for the installation of Easy PHP Calendar. I would wish to buy this product but if its giving me this much trouble maybe I should re-think this.

Best regards,

Hey agiler,

I LOVE Easy PHP Calendar!!! I am just having a small issue with the Wordpress Plugin I got that someone else developed to go with the software.

The Easy PHP Calendar is AWESOME and the support has been great!!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Than How do fix this issue?

Probably by contacting the guy who created the plugin. I might do so in the future, but right now it is not affecting anything so I am really no rush. You do not need the plugin for the software to work... all it does is give you control in your Wordpress admin... which it not really needed at all.

SO what you are saying is that even with those erros the program still works????

Brian

Yes. Just to be clear. This is not a calendar error. This is a WP error.

How about this message that I got in the intallation, read below

Enter the directory where you have installed Easy PHP Calendar on your server (for example - /calendar).
If it is installed in the root directory, just enter a slash "/":

Do I have to make a directory, or is this bogus too?

Best regards,
agiler:thanks:

You would need to ask the person that wrote the script you're using. It's not part of the calendar. If it's working, I support you've entered the correct response.

but it says it is on the install. When I click on the event tab I get the following...

Add/Edit Events

You did not enter the install directory for Easy PHP Calendar. Please go to the Settings page.

When I click on the setup tab I get the following...

Calendar Setup

You did not enter the install directory for Easy PHP Calendar. Please go to the Settings page.

Do you know what this is about?

To be very clear, all your issues are with the WP integration plugin distributed here http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-easy-php-calendar-admin/

This is not supported by EasyPHPCalendar, Nashtech, nor myself. Jazbek has not maintained the plugin which was released two years ago for WP 2.3. Lets be clear... IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WP 2.9.

The fix to your issue is to uninstall the WP plugin. The calendar will work just fine without it.

The calendar is not a WordPress plugin, but by using my instructions (part 1 (http://www.epctutorials.com/tutorials/how-to-integrate-the-calendar-in-wordpress-part-1/), part 2 (http://www.epctutorials.com/tutorials/how-to-integrate-the-calendar-in-wordpress-part-2/)) it can be made to display properly within WP.

I don't know what this is. It is not part of the calendar.
