calendar events not being displayed

For some reason events are not being displayed on the front end of the calendar. I am able to add them just fine in the back-end control panel. I am also not able to modify existing calendar entries. Can anyone help???

It shows that the modification has been successfully made in the back-end control panel/admin then it just doesn't show up on the front end.

Any help is appreciated.

Is it possible that you would have two installs? And how about a link to your installation?
