Problem with french accents

Hi,

I am having a problem entering french accents in the Setup Manager. I am trying to enter a french translation for "Single Day Event" and "Multi-day Event" and the accents show OK when first entered, but when I "Save Changes" the é shows as é.

I need to get this fixed rather quickly so I am hoping someone else has encountered the same problem.

Edit the config.inc.php file directly... That should get you going.

I have edited the config file directly and that is working for the moment, but I am concerned that the next time I make changes in the Setup Manager and save changes that it will just overwrite the config file with the messed up accents again.

I had read somewhere on the forum that this version of EPC would fix the problem with the accents.

I believe that you won't get that problem unless you make a change on the same page as where the accent was to be entered.
