I have installed and am having fun tweaking this calendar....but cannot seem to get the dates on the calendar to link to the popup description page from a flat file....it DOES work via SQL though.

Please help as I would like to use a combination of both if possible.

Installed at:

http://www.calvaryhorns.com/calendar.html

FYI:

Link from flat file is 7/16/2003
Link from SQL is 12/25/2003

Thanks!

Everything seems to be working? I don't see where 7/16/2003 has been marked. Please let me know if I've overlooked something.

Papa...

My esdates.txt file is put together like this:

07-16-2003,,Mark Van Cleave's Birthday

The date appears on the events listing on the right, but is NOT hot linked on the calendar itself.

Is there something else I need to add to the esdates.txt file or is the syntax correct??

Thanks so much!!

Is the esdates.txt file in the same folder as the calendar scripts? I can't seem to find it.

The esdates.txt file needs to be in the same folder as the page from which the calendar script was called. Try moving it up one level to the root folder.

You're using calendar.htm

The script requires a php enabled server and the web page as calendar.php

All that's being displayed is the valid html

It looks like his site may be using frames and the calendar script is called from index.php?

I am using both SQL (for important listings) and the flat file for easier editing for non computer savy people.

Seems to be working very well!
