Delete Event after the Current Date?

Hello,
Can this Calendar delete events after the current date?
It's a little strange the possibility to mark one event after current date, so is more correct that the system verify the date of the event and compare with current date. If date of event go by, delete the event...
Someone has the solution???

This is not a feature of Version 4.5. :(

However, automated event purging will be a feature in a future version.
