Hello, This is my first post and yes i have read through the other post. We like your calendar and want to use it but I would like to be able to have the url on the actual calendar instead of just the color difference on the date. I would like to thank you up front for any help that can be provided.
Thanx

Just to make sure I understand, do you want the event information to appear on the actual calendar display (such as next to the date numbers)?

Yes that is correct, and hopefully possible.
thanx

Well, not the full event but a brief description that would be clickable.

Unfortunately, the feature you mentioned isn't part of the current design goals of the script which are to keep the calendar small, informative and intuitive. I don't want to say this will never be possible, but it isn't something in the current plans to implement. :(

Ok, thank you for the quick response. I will see if I can write the code for now and see if I can get it to work. Again, thank you for the prompt response.
keep up the good work on the calendar it works great.

I did something a little like you ask for:
added a column for week numbers and a column for prices per week (for a rental scheme)
changed the rollover 'title' so it reads from a different mysql table
changed the pop up stuff to open a window reading from several tables
modified the colouring system to alternate event colouring (my system only allows one event at any time for each thing rented)...
and sorted out a twelve month view with forward /back buttons
-- its all possible and quite easy to hack
it took time and patience but adding a url shouldn't be too hard for you - just get a good php/mysql book!
I manually added line breaks to the escal script so as to read it (but I just saw there's a program to do that automatically)
I used v4.7 as I don't need the extras of v5
btw I'm not a programmer though I have good scripting experience
The ES calendar is excellent!
