events next to calendar ?

Hello, another newbie here with extra-novice experience. I have setup succesfully the demo 4. version, and would like to upgrade to the 5. paid version, but have a couple questions. As a novice, how do i get the events to display next to calandar like some of the exapmples from the forum? And is it easy/how do i install it into myhomepage.html ?

The sites you see doing this are heavily hacked versions of the calendar (which they did themselves). This isn't currently possible in Version 5.3, but is a feature on the development list. :D
