Dates do not link

I am having a problem with my Calendar.

When I add an event, the corresponding date changes color like an event is associated with it but there is not link to the event. YOu roll over the date and nothing happens.

Any idea what is wrong or if I messed something up?

make sure you enabled either the on-click popup or the mouseover popup.... both of which you can setup in the configuration page.
