I downloaded an event calendar from another site and tried for 3 days to get it to work correctly. I finally got tired of messing with it and purchased this one without even getting the trial version.
Most of my sites are on windows and I normally use asp.net so I am not real familiar with php but not to worry...This calendar worked perfect from the start. It is WELL WORTH the price tag. And in addition it is super simple to integrate it into an existing site.
