start date / end date

can the "event length" input be changed to "end date" so the events are set by defining "start date" & "end date"

The script isn't designed this way. There are several reasons for this and the best solution is to pick the length of an event by the number of days it will last. :)

But isn't it converting the event length into an end date anyway? I would think this would be an easy fix on my end...

i have just discovered the calendar as i have a client that will potentially need a tool like this. the calendar is close to perfect for my needs (i forsee the need to create events that span many weeks or months. they will know the exact end date and will have to count alot of days to figure it out... they'll get it wrong, have to tweak the event, etc). the addition of an end date field would make it perfect.

does anyone have a working mod to add this feature? could it be added/included in a future version of the calendar?
