For my purposes developing corporate IntraNET's, EasyPHPCalendar (EPC) is the most solid, well developed, stand-alone application I have ever had the pleasure of deploying.
I even purchased a license copy of Web Calendar Pro (WCP) prior to using EPC -- needless to say, I was terribly disappointed with the inflexibility of WCP for many reasons. If simplicity, efficiency, and complete functionality are something you value in a calendar, project, or applet, consider Easy PHP Calendar!
