I downloaded the free trial today and installed it, complete with a database connection to a MySQL table on my server. No problems.
I have an existing MySQL database table containing more than 25,000 events. Can I import this table into the EasyPHPCalendar MySQL table?
Thanks.

There isn't a built-in mechanism to import other tables. :(
Are these single occurring events?

A lot of the events are repeating events for each day the event occurs, such as museum exhibits, gallery exhibits, etc. For example, there is a museum exhibit that opens today (Oct. 6) and runs through Jan. 3. This represents 90 rows in my current MySQL table--one row for each day of the event. There are also a large number of events that repeat every day (or every weekday) indefinitely. I can already tell that EasyPHPCalendar would handle these kinds of event listings much better than my present method.
There are probably 2-3,000 events that are single day events, such as high school sports events, live music gigs at area restaurants and nightclubs, movie theatre listings, etc.
It sounds like it would be a massive job to try to convert or import these events into the EasyPHPCalendar MySQL table???

Repeating events only need to be inserted once in the EPCal database.
It sounds like it would take some manual entry of events to make certain everything makes it over correctly.

Yeah, I can see that the repeating events would be way easier to deal with in EPC. That's the main reason I am giving the trial version a test drive.
I like what I've seen of EPC so far and hope I can adapt it to my needs. Thanks again.
