Hey:

What exactly can you do with categories? Right now, I have it setup so that each event has a different color assigned to it depending on the category. This is very basic.

Can you have your list of events sorted by category at the bottom? Or can you set the category to print on each event? Any other cool uses for categories?

Also how would I do these things?

You can filter by category (as you do now), but sorting by category isn't possible (yet).

Categories can display on events, but not the main category. The main category is used to assign a color code to events and does not display in descriptions, pop-ups, etc.. If you create additional categories, it's selection(s) will display along with the event information.

Oh ok -- so create another category in the Setup Manager, and then make the names the same as the Main Category?

Great! :)

Once the new template system is introduced in Version 7 (planning stages), it will make this easier.
