Is there a way to show the current days pop up as a default (just like blog mode but only display the popup instead) and then when you roll over the date it changes the popup...i don't know. hmmm...maybe this is something for future installments...please let me know...thanks...by the way i love this calendar.

How would this be better than the mouse-over pop-ups?

i guess what i mean to say it...or i'll just show you...http://www.zubar.com/images/example.jpg where the event scheduled for that day shows up by default and when you rollover a new date...it swaps out those event details...so the popover never goes aways just swaps out... or maybe you have a better solution or idea for this...or maybe i'm just trying to be complicated..lol

Well, you can set the popup with an anchor so it always opens at that spot, and then when you roll over, it'll display whatever date you're on. I don't think it would be possible to have the popup displayed without actually having the mouse on the date.

Then again, it might be possible... I guess testing would have to be done for that.

that sounds right... or something like that...so in a sense a rollover blog mode...with the default (static) being today's event...

that's what i thought...i really appreciate you help...at least the chat about it...i guess i could use the blog in a predetermined size and place the rollover on the exact same spot...what do you think about that...i'll give that a try and see what i get with that...i'll let you know...

The problem is the trigger for the mouse-over pop-ups. It can only be opened by mouse placement (over and event cell). So, there really isn't a way to have the pop-up open upon loading the page.

that's cool - i'll figure out another solution to the clients request...but i will say this...you guys working on this calendar are great...not only did i get a response but i got several that were detailed and exactly what i wanted to needed to hear...an answer, doesn't matter if it wasn't what i wanted, that's beside the point...just keep up the good work...
