At a test site here
http://www.playmediadesign.com/demo/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=65 can anyone tell me where to alter the width of the list below the calendar so when using the wrapper there are no horizontal scrollbars,
i.e. the textbox 'there are no events to ....' and other content items in this area don't expand to be bigger than the page.

I've tried playing with the calendar.php file and had a look at some css files with no luck yet.

Thanks!

Corin

The CSS is in the template/modern.php file (unless you've chosen another template, then edit that one). :)

Thanks!
Just the ticket, and the speediest forum support I've ever seen.

Cheers

Can you be more specific in the modern.php file? I shortened the .tableListings parameter enough to clear the scrollbars but they still appear.

Do you have a URL to your installation? Usually, that fixes it up... You could also use "100%" or another percentage instead.

Hey, good to see you again!

Yeah, this problem goes back to last year when I wanted to place the text on calendar inside the front page of my site in a content window. Turns out I only had to change some wrapper params in Joombla after adjusting the size of the calendar table and everything worked fine. I'm using ECal in another website now but I think I'm going back to my original idea of a site for Hams to make skeds with other hams via the calendar.

ECal is fun to play with.

Best regards-

So did you fix your problem with the scrollbars? I'm not sure whether you were referring to your previous site or the current one when you said "everything worked fine"...

Yes, the problem was one of the same and so was the fix--make the approporiate parameter adjustments to the wrapper inside Mambo/Joombla.
