blog mode page refresh

I am using the calendar on a site that has a flash nav intro on each page. When the user clicks on the calendar to change the content in the blog it refreshes the page and causes the little flash nav to reload . Can this be avoided somehow?

You can use frames or an iframe to separate your flash from the calendar content.
