Links in descriptions not working

Hi!

I'd like to put a link in my event description. The text included is:

Register in the <a href=http://www.bestillandknit.com/webstore/products.php?cat=35>webstore</a>! Just look for the class you want to take and sign up using your major credit card. For more information about this class, please <a href=mailto:bestillandknit@qwest.net>email</a>me.

When the description gets published, the "=35" part of the first link gets cut off, so the user goes to the wrong spot. Is there anyway I can change my syntax to get the link to the right place?

That's because it can be used as an XSS exploit and you've enabled this feature in the Setup Manger. If you and only trusted users will be entering events, you should be safe disabling that feature in the Setup Manager.
