Upgrading to new version

My calendar already have 2 months + of events.

My question is if I upgrade to latest version I have to backup the caldat.php and all my custom images for the calendar or the upgrade verify last installation and make minor changes.

What version are you upgrading from?

Version 6.0

My calendar have several categories defined, for example:

Show
Sports Events
Concerts
Etc.

This are defined only for one location, can I be able to define other locations with the same categories?

For example:

Panama Hotel
Nacional Hotel
Chitre Hotel
Decameron Hotel

My bosses are very excited with this product and they want to expand it nationwide.

Please help me with this.

Since you're upgrading, make sure to follow the upgrade procedure outlined in the Online Documentation (http://docs.easyphpcalendar.com/). Following these, your events, theme and categories should be saved.

You can also add another category called Location within the Setup Manager and add the examples you gave for options. It will show up as a separate drop-down when you enter a new event.
