Upgrade for the dumb

Hi Brian,
In the past I have had my web site developer administer any upgrades. He has gone... I would like to upgrade to the latest version. The calender is hosted with a 3rd party ( not on my computer ), can you advise me if this would be an easy thing to do ? Thanks heaps
