Events Manager login looping error

Just recently installed as trial I am testing prior to purchase for clients site if stable enough etc.

All installed ok set up mysql through contol panel which connected and set up an empty table.

My problem is that I can't log in to events manager, when I try log in I get an easyphp calendar banner with 2 lines of what appears to be a small gif icon with my username shown behind them, then a javascript error dialog with no text just a yellow warning triangle if I click ok on this I go back to the main calendar index.

I can log in fine on the set up manager and make changes..

FYI am running PHP 4.4.2 MySql 4.0.25 and Linux.

Have placed a tmp folder with 777 permissions in web root but didn't work, as read this in FAQ

Sounds like one or more of the files in the events and/or functions directories are corrupted. Please try uploading the files again using forced binary mode.

I definitely see some corruption in several files (Many parts are missing in the Setup Manager and the graphics and the language file is not correct in the Event Manager).

If you'd like, open a support ticket with your server information and I'll try uploading the files.

It was an issue with files being corrupted when uploaded to the server. All sorted now... Enjoy!
