Event Listing Customization

I'm trying to integrate an abbreviated form of the event list on my homepage. What I would like to have is the event only list the date, time, and headline of the event list on the home page and have a link (i.e. read more) to the page which contains my entire event listing. How would I integrate this and be able to also customize the size of the event listing on the home page.

You can edit the HTML template as defined before your List Mode require command. If you open the template file, you should see how to modify it to fit your needs.
