Hi there! I'm trying to use the Easy PHP Calendar in my Joomla site, but I have a few questions. I'm new to EPC and quite new to Joomla as well, and I don't have a clue on how to do this.

What I want is this:

in my joomla menu I have a Wrapper link to the EPC page (www.mydomain.nl/calendar) (http://www.mydomain.nl/calendar%29).

When I click on this menu item I would like to see a calendarpage in Blog Mode (first the calendar - only the current month - and then the list), and on top of the page two dropdown boxes for two different categories (like you get on the advanced filter section).

In other words, the users should be able to filter the events on one or both of the two categories (which are: schools and organizations --> the events take place on schools and are organized by organizations).

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction, is this possible and how can I accomplish it?

Lots of thanks in advance!

The filter plugin works only with the main category. However, you can create your own filters using the showCat function (search the instructions for full details).

To do the layout the way you want, look at the Integration section of the instructions which should guide you through the layout process.

thanks, I got that working now!

I have another question, is it possible to change the layout of the 'event manager' page, I would like to display just one month at a time, and most important: I would like to make the page a little smaller (the width), so that it fits in my Joomla site.
Hope you can help me out!

The core of the event manager can not be changed. It will always be the same width and with three calendars. :(

hmm.. that's really a shame :(.. I really like the calendar but if I can't even make that page just a little smaller, I can never get it to look good in my Joomla site... what a bummer

is there really no possible way to do this? It just has to get a líttle smaller...(it should be maximum 500 pixels wide..)... this calendar is so perfect for my client's site, and it's the ONLY calendar I have found that can do what I need for this site..

If I could get this, I would buy easy php calendar immediately..

Currently, it's not designed to be changed this way.
