uploading with Frontpage and server extensions

will I have any problems using the Frontpage sevrer extensions to publish the files to the website? from what I understand, if I were to use normal FTP - it can corrupt the server extensions.

Yes! FrontPage doesn't play well with PHP files, especially binary PHP files. You'll need to upload the calendar files using a standard FTP program. I haven't heard of corrupting extensions by using FTP (I do it on my server [I'm a web host provider too] all the time).

doing web searched - is painted all over the web not to use ftp with extensions. but all the people saying that I just learned, are going to far. Just do not ftp the extension files and folders, ftp'ing files not related to extensions is ok - but you wouldn;t know that doing a regular search on the internet.
