Hi guys,

I installed the calendar for a client. Ran the test, all worked, host (my own host as well) told me to use Zend, they are using Php4.x, so that is what I used to install, using the autoinstaller.

During the install, I got this error:

"An error was encountered while setting permissions on the FTP server. There server returned the following error:

An error was encountered while uploading the files to the FTP server.

Retry?"

Each time I hit retry, I kept getting the same message. I finally had to say no, and cancel. The last screen showed that we were on file 72 of 131, the NEWcaldat.php file and that it was setting package file and folder permissions.

The site and page in question is:

http://www.performanceplusk9s.com/calendar.html

Everything appears to work fine....the calendar, the setup, events managers, everything.

I was going to install the demo on my own site and purchase tonight, but when I tried to run the exe file, it showed that the performanceplusk9s install had not finished. I was given the option of resuming or doing a fresh install.

Which should I do, and how can I make sure that none of the changes and settings I have completed aren't overwritten? I could just ftp these files back up when finished, but wasn't sure if there might be a problem with these files, too?

Thanks, guys!

Suzanne

You may need to use an FTP client to set the file permissions or if you have a type of control panel for your hosting account you may need to use that. If that doesn't work, you would be best to check with your web host to see why you can't change the permissions.
