Hello,

I am having problems using the Trial Version of your product (which is great by the way... ).

I have entered a Trial License Key in the Setup Manager which doesn't appear to save.

When I view 'demo.php' it tells me that there is a License Key error and in the help files it says to re-enter the License Key in Setup Manager. I do this but it still doesn't solve the problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

Are you running this on a domain or localhost?

Yes, I'm running on localhost.

You should have been presented with a message that said that running on localhost will only allow the calendar to perform in limited mode.

See: http://www.easyphpcalendar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5265&highlight=localhost

Hi,

I am running a MySQL database on localhost, but the actual domain name of the site where the script is installed is www.roundwoodpark.herts.sch.uk (http://www.roundwoodpark.herts.sch.uk) - surely it should be able to run there?

You should try uploading the trial to that domain to be sure it will work there.

Hi,

Sorry we appear to have got our wires crossed on this one!

I have uploaded the script to the domain I mentioned - I know it doesn't work locally - and still having the same problems.

You can see for yourself by going here:

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

Mark

This is either files weren't uploaded in binary mode, the wrong encoder version for the installed version of PHP use used, or the files were corrupt when uploaded.

Try running the tester script, download the files it recommends, then install the files following the instructions carefully.

If you'd like for me to upload the files, please open a support ticket and I'll be glad to help. :)
