I ran the tester program on my server and got the php version and found they had both zend and ion cube stuff loaded. I downloded the auto-installer for php 4.x with zend. I then ran the installer. It bombed out in the middle because of a timeout. It asked if I wanted to retry, and I did. It died again. So I tried starting the autoinstaller from scratch. It told me a file already existed and couldn't continue, so I went to the server and erased everything from the first try. I tried the installer again. It timed out again, but this time the retry worked and I got it all loaded. I checked the file structure against what it shows in the Manual setup instructions, and the folders are all there, don't know if everything got uploaded, or if they uploaded with the right mode: Ascii or binary.
I went to the next step which is Initial Setup. I put my path in and all I get is the heading for the page. I never get the setup utility. You can try it at

I read through the forum and didn't see anything that enlightened me. I tried the FAQ and found an article on Temporary Domains, downlaoded the calendar.php file and entered a $serverPath and $urlPath. Uploaded. No change, still just getting the page header. I also read the manual instructions and saw where it said I had to have write permissions on three files. I set those (the autoinstaller had not set them). What you see when you connect has the write permissions in place and the stuff from the temporary domains article too.
Think I've done all I can figure out; need an expert to help.
Thanx
