testing on temp url

Hello, I am testing the calendar on a temp url for a web re-design. It is on the same server as the final url. The test loaded fine and I will purchase the software if I will be able to transfer it, along with the other files, to the new url....
Is this an option?

How will that work? Can I simply move the calendar folder? What about the sql database? Or should I ask when I'm ready to move it?

If it's on the same server, the SQL information should stay the same.

The only thing that is required it updating the paths in the calendar.php file after the move.
