T-Variable error message

I have the calendar (normal mode) running OK but want to have the List appear view below it. I've followed the instructions provided in the documentation but get an error message to say I have an invalid t-variable. Any suggestions what is causing this?

Most likely you're missing a space on the line producing the error. :)
