Hi everyone! I just purchased this program and it works great for my client on my test server, but I need to move it soon to a server that does not have ioncube or zend and they won't install either. I downloaded the installed files thinking they would have all been decoded, but that's not the case. Is there a location I can grab the decoded program in it's entirety? This is very important to me, thanks for reading!

Sever Test Script:
Q: Why do I need Zend Optimizer or ionCube Encoder?
A: The Easy PHP Calendar is encoded which makes the actual code unreadable to all but servers that support the proper 'decoders'. This is done to protect our intellectual property and to allow us to offer a free trial version. However, the calendar is designed in such a way as to give a great level of control over the look and actions of the script without the need to view or modify the source code.

The files are not available in a decoded format.

I fully understand the logic here Brian - thanks! The only issue is that I may not be able to use this great product then, because my clients host won't install ioncube or zend and therefore we can't run the calendar even though we bought it already...any ideas to work around this issue? I just wish there was a decoded version for those who can't accomodate to this situation...have a good one!

You should really try the tester script as you don't need to install anything for ionCube. I found that most servers are already properly configured to allow ionCube to work.

Hi Ve9qra, I have run tester, and it says that it passed the IonCube requirement, but setup still fails with Zend Optimizer not installed. What do I have to do to allow setup to use IonCube... Tester said that it is already installed, and no further action is needed. My hosting provider will be re-instating Zend Optimizer once it plays nice with PHP 5.2 ( next month, sometime ? )
Please advise.

It would appear you've downloaded the Zend version instead of the ionCube version. The test script should provide the exact links you need to download the version for your server. Try the tester script again and download the calendar files from there then install the new files to your server.
