I am having an interesting issue with the popup.
I am using Joomla with a Rocket theme that allows users to change the width of the page from narrow to wide to fluid. In the fluid setting the popup is located close to where it should be based on the settings of 10,10 set in the setup utility.
The problem comes when the width is set to narrow or wide. The popup always attaches to the far right side of the overall browser window, which maybe larger than the narrow or wide viewable frame. (See attachment.)
Where should I look to correct this?
Thank you - David

I'm not sure this is an issue associated with only Joomla.
It appears it is an issue with IFrames. I have been looking at documentation for overLIB but not sure how to set the frame variable. I did include the java script overlib_crossframe.js into the overLIB folder and tried to insert it's definition into the calendar.php file. This screwed up all formatting of the calendar, so I removed it. I also thried this with overlib_crossframe_mini.js as it looks like the code will load this if available. This also screwed up formatting.
At first I thought the full frame viewing was placing the popup correctly, but it is not. it just appeared to as the calendar was close to the right side of the frame.
Any help you might give would be appreciated.

A link to your installation would be a first step...

You can view the problem at http://www.loendorffamily.net. It is most easily seen by maximizing the browser and selecting the narrow screen width option in the upper right corner of the window.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have. I have no problem with porogramming, so if you can head me in the right direction I will work at it.

Your calendar hasn't been integrated using the module. You can find it in the Repository thread at the top of this (Mambo/Joomla) forum. Make sure you get the latest version (1.0).
If it is still exhibiting problems after that, we can see what causes it to shift.
Example: If you look at http://www.loendorffamily.net/modules/calendar/demoTOC.php you'll see that the popup shows exactly where it is supposed to... So it's something in your page that is causing that problem.

Thanks for the reply.
Actually the calendar that shows on the right was integrated as a module. However, I believe the module was one I obtained from the net, so I have uninstalled it and installed the one you suggested obtained from this forum.
Unfortunately, the problem remains. All other instances where I use the small calendar, the popups are placed correclty. It is only the one associated with the module that the popups are attached to the right side of the browser.
Thanks - David

The problem is not with the module but with other pieces of the website. Usually it's other JavaScript messing with the overLib variables (kinda like the menu).

I am not sure I can agree with this. As you already pointed out, it works fine when I am displaying a TOC version, or a monthly or daily list. In all of those cases the menu is present. I have also checked to see if any other code on the site is using the overLIB functions and there is none - only EPC.
I believe it has to do with frames, but have not been able to track it down. I am leaving for 3 months in Europe next Monday and will not be able to continue tracking down the problem till mid January.
For now, I have removed the calendar from the right pane.
