Fatal error: Corrupted encoded data....?

Hi all,
I'm new to this calendar program, was recently using WebCalendar but ran into an error I could not get passed. I just installed the demo version of easyphp calendar today but come accross this error when I try to run the setup.

Fatal error: Corrupted encoded data detected in /*****/*****/public_html/calendar/setup/index.php on line 0

Also, if I run the auto-installer i get an error telling me that it is the wrong data format and something about Optimizer 2...

any ideas?

Fatal error: Incompatible file format: The encoded file has format major ID 6901248, whereas the Optimizer expects 2 in /*****/*****/public_html/calendar/calendar/setup/index.php on line 0

Solved my own problem with help from another thread, I had to upload the site using FTP Voyager because of the Encrypted files.
