i just installed the trial version and am a bit confused in getting everything set up. here's what im looking to do:

i want to have a calendar on our website (www.orthodoxgifts.com) that you can click on to show the date, which would then call up our script (http://www.duke.edu/~aa63/usage.html)
to display the Orthodox saint of the day and then have a search feature which would search through our online inventory for related products.

is it possible to do this with this sw? if not, is anyone here available to do this for us privately? Thanks!

You can set allow HTML and auto-convert links in the Setup Manager and then add the links to your event descriptions. Then users will be able to click those links to go to other page(s).

Thanks. But when i added the script in for the description event, it just displayed the additional text I added, and not the script action info.

I have the script working on other websites, so i know the coding is right. But when i add it into a given date, it's does nothing. i have the auto html set and auto convert.:ugh:

I'm looking at your calendar and I don't see much information in there (much less links) except for the word Today and some punctuation.

What exactly are you wanting to put in the calendar for display?

That's the problem! i added this script into the event but nothing comes up. http://www.duke.edu/~aa63/usage.html (http://www.duke.edu/%7Eaa63/usage.html))

Try turning off XSS protection in the Setup Manager and see if that helps.

It was off. Turning it on didnt help either.

I've added it to January the 30th on the demo page of this site and it seems to be working (unless I'm misunderstanding what you are trying to do). If it's gone, try entering it on the demo here and see what happens.

That added the link to the page, but the script isnt working.

Each date should display the actual saint of the day, not a link to install a script for the saint of the day. Does that make sense?

You want to execute code as part of the description? Such as adding PHP code to the page?

If so, this is a huge security risk and is not something that is allowed in an event.
