Calendar won't display in IPB board?

I have been using Easy PHP Calendar (and it's forerunner Easily Simple Calendar) for quite some time and love it's easy data entry (sql database) and it's professional appearance on my family website!

Now for the problem ... I'm streamlining my site and would like my family forum (running in IPB) to feature the calendar in the upper right corner. I've entered the appropriate lines in the appropriate places, yet the calendar does not appear. I've tried many variations, including hard-coding the complete path. Nothing seems to have worked.

I'm hoping someone can tell me where I erred?

Not trying to pass the buck, but did you try IPB's support (since this is their product you're integrating into)?

Your PHP is not being parsed. You can check at the source code of the page and you'll see the PHP there in plain text. Check with IPB on how to integrate PHP code in their software.
