View Full Version : Event Manager refresh

When I delete an event in event manager the page auto scrolls backwards 1 month,
In other words if I have my 3 month view as March-April-May, when the page refreshes it shows Feb-March-April and the next refresh will be Jan-Feb-Mar.
This only happens when I delete an event! If I edit an event it behaves perfectly.
My Version is 6.3.24 and it is a full standard license
Any ideas?

Hello Brian,
Thanks for the response,
I have already replaced my headerCustom.inc.php file with the new one and it works fine when I am editing (always returning to the current view),
The problem is that when I am deleting an event it scrolls backwards 1 month every time it refreshes.
More Info...
I always start the year by adding an event that lasts 1 day and repeats for 365 days of the year which basically says that each day is available to be booked and all info, prices etc., When I get a booking, I delete that one occurence from the calendar, That is not such a problem... But when I need to delete several days from a particular month it becomes a pain having to rescroll to the original view.

Try clearing that file completely so that is is blank. (Don't delete the file).

Okay Brian,
I tried clearing the info from that one occurence and then saved the file but it changed the info on all occurences, any editing I do to a single occurence has a global effect on the whole calendar,
The URL to the Calendar is here http://www.weymouthangling.co.uk/booking.php

I'm not sure what you mean by your last reply. Are we still talking about the month the calendar will display?

Sorry Brian, I have obviously confused you,
Let me start again,
At the begining of a year I create a repeating event which starts January 1st, spans 1 day, repeats every 1 day and stops after 350 events.
If I then edit any single occurence it changes the entire 350 occurences. (perfect, that is what I want it to do)
In Calendar Event (editing mode) if I click on one of the listed events (below the 3 month boxes) and click on "delete this one occurence" when the page auto refreshes it will have scrolled backwards 1 month,
If I only want to delete one occurence then it is not a problem, but, If I take a booking for say - 10 consecutive days, I have to keep rescrolling back to the month that I am trying to edit because they shift backwards every time the page refreshes.
I hope that is a little clearer, sorry for the confusion.

Here are some images that show the sequence of events,
In the first I am going to delete the January 11th Occurense
Here (http://www.weymouth-angling.co.uk/1.jpg)
In the second I have clicked the first one on the list (Fri Jan 11)
Here (http://www.weymouth-angling.co.uk/2.jpg)
In the third I have clicked the "Delete Single Occurence" and got a confirmation dialogue pop up as shown
Here (http://www.weymouth-angling.co.uk/3.jpg)
The final image shows the view when the page has refreshed,
Here (http://www.weymouth-angling.co.uk/4.jpg)
As you can see it has moved the 3 month view backwards to now show Dec 2007

Your server/browser is caching the month variable somehow, but I'm not sure how.
Can you open a support ticket with the URL and login to your setup manager?

Here is the support ticket number KDB-180149
Thanks for your help,

Brian,
I thought I had found the problem when I discovered in the setup manager that the maximum numbers of days was set to 80, When I changed it to 356 and tested it, it worked okay,
But now it has reverted back to the fault?
Sorry,
