Hi! I would like to know how easy to update this calendar? Do I have to open up my HTML file each time I want to update the events? Or open my Database to edit it from there? Is this calendar a "CMS" calendar?

I am looking for a calendar for people who doesn't know HTML/PHP/MySQL so they can modify it 2 times a week.

I look forward to any answers I can get here. Thank you!

Go to the Online Demo page and click the Event Manager link in the upper-right. This is how you manage events. :)

I did. But I also noticed that the Event Manager does not appear on the actual website so my question is where the "webmaster" go to update the events?

And my client is very cheap. He doesn't want to pay for PHP/MySQL hosting. So I have to use "flat-file database" and what is it exactly? And how many entries will this database support?

As you can see, I am trying to find a calendar for a static website. Hopefully this is it.

This is where the webmaster will go to update events. The calendar, once installed on your server, will have the Event Manager to manage the events.

You must have PHP, (hence the name Easy PHP Calendar). A flat-file database stores the data in a simple file rather than a mySQL database.

And how many entries will this database support?

It's only limited by the capacity of your server.

If you have not seen it for yourself already it's very easy to update (compared to some other products out there).

I have people who can't use a computer let alone web applications who find it very easy to use. The most complicated thing for them is remembering the username and password...

The calendar is among the most "clean" in terms of presentation, I keep one browser window open posting changes and another to check the changes after they have been posted and I'm really happy with the results.
