My old calendar had an option to have a small list of upcoming dates and headlines in the sidebar. This was great because you could have it always display the next 5 (for instance) events, regardless of months. Such as:
March 10: Beer festival
March 18: Pie eating contest
March 19: Stomach pumping
April 09: Somebody's birthday
June 10: Dance contest
Is something like this possible? As of now people may have to click through many pages to see what is going to happen next. And it's bad for the cell phone browsers as well.
