Current or upcoming events on home page

Hello, I am new to easy php calendar, and I don't know if this has already been done somewhere on the forum, but I am wanting to display a list of 8 to 10 current or upcoming events on my homepage. Is this posible and if so, how would I go about doing such. I attached a fuzzy screenshot to show you what I'm wanting. Thanks!

That's the whole point of the List mode. $noOld=1; and $listEvents=10; will do exactly what you want.
