Multiple events under one date in list mode

There was a good bit of discussion some time back about how to get list mode (or blog mode, I suppose) to list multiple events on a single day under one date heading (so the date is not repeated for every event on the same day).

This thread suggested there was a way to do it with a little work:

I was. By using the Blog mode and a loop. Somewhat easy, but with some catches along the way. I have the whole solution packaged if you're interested. Use the link below and we can work out the details.
