Hi,

I'm trying to install the demo cal. I uploaded the tester script & have verified that Zend is installed: http://dutchessfair.com.mytempweb.com/calendar/test/

When attempting to run the setup script I get the following:
"Zend Optimizer not installed"

Here is the link to the setup script:

I just need to verify this will run before purchase. it seems like a very nice app & I'd love to use it for my client's site.

thanks

btw - if you need more info about my server click here:

Try putting the calendar files in the test directory and see if they work there...

I don't really know what's happening there. If you'd like, open a support ticket and I can try to upload the files and see if there is any difference.

Here's a possible solution I stumbled across during my own upload on my GoDaddy.com hosting account.

If you have PHP 5.* selected as your hosting account's language of choice, you'll have to re-set back to PHP 4.*

Go Daddy's sites don't allow Zend to function unless PHP 4.* is selected.

If you're using their hosting service, this will definitely fix the issue for you.

ok - figured it out.... I'm uploading w/ Mac / Fetch and I used MacBinary instead of Raw data. Just a suggestion but perhaps this could be noted in the installation instructions (or somewhere more obvious) as I really had to dig a bit to find this info.

But I'm glad it's working now :D

One other thing I need to know. I need to install this on the client's current server w/ IonCube and then move it to another server that uses Zend. Once purchased will the same license# work with the Zend version?

thanks

MAC FAQ:

The license should work as long as the domain is the same. If not, follow the prompts to get a new license key.
