Fatal Memory Error on WP2.5

I installed the trial version of Easy PHP Calendar and it runs perfectly. My primary need is to integrate it with Wordpress. There may be a version incompatibilty since I am on WP2.5. I downloaded the plugin from the wordpress site. It is giving me this error before I can even activate the plugin.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 19456 bytes) in /usr/www/users/sydphi/bcac/wp-includes/rss.php on line 122

rss.php is not something that is included in the EPC package. Contact WordPress for support.

Your right. It was actually the Zend optimizer that changed things. I had to install it to run EPC. After uninstalling Zend Wordpress is back to normal.

You might have better luck by using the ionCube version.
