I was having problems with spaw v2, and I checked the forum to learn that version 6 is only compatable with v1. So, I deleted v2, and installed v1. I like spaw better than tinymce because of the incorporated upload and insert pic function.

Spaw 1 works fine for creating a description (copying and pasting from MS Word), but if I have to go back in to edit something, instead of regular text, I get something like this:

<meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type"></meta><meta content="Word.Document" name="ProgId"></meta><meta content="Microsoft Word 11" name="Generator"></meta><meta content="Microsoft Word 11" name="Originator"></meta><link ....

and it goes on and on.

Help please?

Seems to be because you're using Word to create your text and then copy/pasting in the window. If you use the SPAW editor to create the styling, you shouldn't have that problem.

I get a lot of information sent to me in MS Word, and copy/pasting is the easy way to get it into the calendar.

What is the best editor that is copy/paste friendly with MS Word, or what route would you recommend?

As soon as you paste in rich text from Word, you'll get those codes, no matter which editor you use. Either edit the events in Word and paste new each time, or don't use the rich text.
