Hello,
I need help with migrating the installed version 6.3.24 of the calendar to a new webhost. I was also looking for a way to archive the events that are already posted (March 2007 to October 2009). Just a note that we have purchased a license.
Many thanks,
Ligia

As long as the PHP and encoder versions are the same, you should be able to copy off the files (in binary) from one server to the other.
There isn't a built-in way to purge events. :(

Hello Brian,
Thank you so much for your quick reply.
Unfortunatelly the new host has php version 5.2.5, while the old host has version 4.3.11.
Here are the 2 links if you want to see:
old host:
http://cloverdalerodeo.com/calendar/index2.php
new host
http://69.73.138.104/~cloverda/calendar/index2.php
Should I try to reinstall the calendar at the new host? What about the future events, how can I migrate them?
Thanks again,
Ligia

You'll want to upgrade the calendar (see the instructions) on the old server so that when you download for the new server, it will be the same version. Then install the correct calendar version on the new server and move your database.

Thanks a lot Brian, did all that and it's migrated.
Had to learn a lot with this one, good stuff!
