View Full Version : corrupt or binary files?

I've downloaded the php5/ioncube version of the calendar and unzipped the .zip file. Some of the files appear to be corrupted (or perhaps binary). For example, the functions.inc.php and calendar.php files both have characters at the end that look like weird characters, boxes, and symbols in Dreamweaver.

Are these files corrupt? Are they binary files? Should I be using some other means of unzipping the files? (I'm on a mac and have tried the native unzip program as well as Stuffit Expander.)

Or is everything as it should be?

Thanks for any help,

Laura S.

One additional thing, I'm not trying to FTP the calendar anywhere yet, I'm just trying to get it to work on my local machine ... so all the FTP binary settings won't help ...

Thanks

My apologies, it looks like the files are ok, I just found this article:

Thanks anyhow ...
