Recently our web hosting service providers server crashed to which they are still performing a full data recovery. Can someone advise if I will need to perform a reinstallation of the PHP Calendar to get things working again? I see the epc_calendar sql DB still contains all the events previously entered. I have copied all the files back to the calendar folder but obtain the following error when trying to access the display page

The encoded file /homepages/14/d91150028/htdocs/SerenityHouseHospice/calendar/functions/dateMarking.php is corrupt.

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to getting this issue resolved.

Reupload the following folders in forced Binary Mode (from a fresh .zip from the download page)

- events
- functions
- setup

Gervais, why do I have to grab another zip to upload those files if I have the ones from the previous setup? Also, how do I decide on what version 4.0 or 5.0? Thanks again for your help on this. Most appreciated.

Hi Gervai,
I followed your instructions and the calendar functions are now working and up and running. Thank you, thank you! and Merry Christmas!

Sorry for the late response, but glad you got it working.

I said new .zip because usually people will try to reupload files that they had downloaded as a backup.. and they had been corrupted during that download.. which means that they try to upload corrupted files. Specifying using a new zip prevents running into that issue.
