I installed EasyPHPCalendar into this Wordpress site. During production, it was installed on GoDaddy's hosting but then I had to move it to the client's local webhosting provider. Since the IP changed, I renewed the license, but the client is seeing the " License Key Error Running In Limited Mode". I can't see it on my computer even after clearing my cache and checking different browsers. I also tried browser capture programs, and they can't see it either.

Client said:
"Here’s the scoop…when you first bring up our website on the Homepage the license error is still there. Once you go in to a tab and visit other areas and go back to the Homepage, then the license error is not there. Can we get it fixed so that when you open our site it’s not there?"

Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this??

I'm not seeing a license error on either page.

There could be a cache issue on their computer and they are seeing the old data. Try having them clear their cache.

Hi Brian :) Thanks for your quick reply - I really appreciate it. :) I've asked the client to clear her cache (she uses IE8) so we'll see what she says.

If clearing the cache doesn't fix it, here's what might be happening. It's a stretch as it requires a very specific scenario, but here goes anyway.

They have a network, and they host their own web server on-premise. They also have a split-dns infrastructure (meaning that their domain name is served internally with private addresses, and externally with public addresses). The calendar gets registered with the domain name, and their public IP address. When they visit their own website internally, they simply go to the internal IP. Since they're hitting the server using a different address than the one registered for the calendar, it displays the licence key error.

If the website is hosted off-site, then there's no way that this is the issue.

Wow, that's a really good explanation, one that I would not have thought of! :) I did find out why they are able to see it and not me though. This whole time I was working on perry-memorial.org, but they have also bought the perrymemorial.org domain (same name without the hypen). Those are different IPs, so it shows that error. I'm in the process of pointing the perrymemorial.org over to perry-memorial.org.

Thanks for everyone's quick help - I really appreciate it :)
