Default Can I use apply easyphpcalendar to e-commerce like this?

Dear Brian,
I have the multiple vendor store web runing the script from iscripts.com.
Now I would like to add calendar feature, customer can reserve the vendors' time.
I found many calendar script but seems your code is closest to my need.
However, I have questions, can you explain me.

1) Is event category limited? or unlimited?
2) I plan to have single calendar for entire website. I will bridge my Vendor name as 'category' in your easyphpcalendar and the event will attached with the customer name. The event creating form will be use as the request/reserve vendor time and I will insert the email notification and confirmation from vendor before add that event to calendar. To view the calendar, I will allow every body to veiw the calendar, but I will hide the customer name from other person except vendor and customer whose names in the event. Is this possible?

Best regards,
Thai

1) No limit.

2) That would be a little tricky. The best way to do it is to use the List Mode and different templates (that you'd modify) to show different information to their respective users.

Thank you for reply, I have more question.
1) Is it possible to handle event manager by another script. I need to have email notify vendor before adding event. So, I have to make another script hanle the event manager. Do you have any sample or link to guide me?

2) Can you hint how to do the external command to event manager and setup manager.

3) When do you plan to release version 7 ?

Thank you again,
Thai

1) While this is technically possible, it's not something we can directly support. You should be able to add events using the regular event manager and determine how they are stored.

2) Not sure what you mean?
