WP Integration

Any news on WordPress integration and having infinite numbers of registered users have the ability to add/edit calendar events?

This is unlikely to happen, unless there's an API that allows for that in Version 7.

Read: Not going to happen for V6. Unknown for V7.

That's unfortunate, because I will have to abandon EasyPHPCalendar - but I do appreciate the honesty and the speedy reply.

I'm not knocking the product - it's great, but it doesn't seem like it's ever going to be what I need it to be.

I do have to note that it was never meant to integrate the back-end into WP. The integration that is provided is only for the front end... displaying the calendar in WP.

If you want something that uses WP's user database, and permissions, then you're always going to be better off with a full-blown WP calendar.

I also have to note that I have no say in the calendar's direction, so I really can't tell you if this would ever be available - not until I get my hands on V7, which would be at the same time as you.

I would love to have a WP integrated calendar - but there aren't any like this.

This would be perfect if I could just have infinite amounts of people (instead of 25) that could add things to the calendar.

I know I can have it so its "open," but I need it to show who posted things.

Anyway, I've looked everywhere - but this was the closest thing I could find. It's just unfortunate.
