I have set up the calendar and followed all instructions, but my problem is that it only shows "Single Day Event" where it should show the title and descriptions of events. I am using MySQL and version 5.0. I've gone over and over the config files and admin areas and I just can't figure it out. You can see a sample here:

Sample Calendar

I even tried reinstalling and everything. The days show up correctly, but no info. I checked in PHPMyAdmin and the information is in the database.

Any suggestions? I've checked with the demo on the ESC.com site and I can see titles and events in the demo.

Thanks in advance.

-Bill

Did you modity the popup.inc.php file in any way?

You may want to upload load that file again to your server again and make sure you are in ASCII mode.

I had the first time I tried it, which you can see at:

First Try

But that is why I tried a fresh install with a seperate DB name in the escal directory.

I just downloaded the ZIP file again and uploaded the popup.inc.php file again using Fetch (I'm on a Mac with OS X.3) with text mode and still no dice.

It appears that the functions.inc.php file was corrupted on the server. I uploaded a new copy straight from the distribution file and it seems to be working now.

Sweeeet!

Thanks. Any chance I could get you to mail out another ZIP file to me? I unzipped it and installed about 3 times and kept having the same trouble, so I'm afraid the original ZIP is probably bad. I'll PM you my e-mail address.

Thanks again.

I too cannot get the popups to work. I also am getting no change of colour on the calender after an event has been added (the event is there in the admin section), but not sight of it on the calender. Everything else on the calender looks perfectly fine.

Can you PM me a link to your calendar installation and your setup and event administration login information?

Yes, it all appears fine, but if you look at the event on the calender for the 6th of this month it's not highlighted in a different shade to let people know it's there, also if you click on it, nothing popups.

The event is saved as June 3, 2004. Did you mean to save it as March 6, 2004? If you use the dd-mm-yyyy format for dates, there is an option in the Setup and Configuration Manager that will make using the script much easier for you.

Does this help?
