Default Events won't display

I've searched the forum and have seen similar issues, but none of them have solved my problem.

I've got esc installed and running. I finished the setup, I can login and admin the calendar, I have added events, and checked the esdates.txt file to see that the events are indeed being persisted to the flat-file. On my test-page (which just re-uses the code largely copy/pasted from the demo.php provided in the package) the calendar displays okay, but the events don't show up in the calendar or in the events listing. But, when I log back into the admin page, the events show up in the calendar. Hmmm...what could be wrong?

I'll apologize in advance for my inability to provide an URL to the test page because the web-server is down right now. Regardless, does anyone have any thoughts on what the problem could be?

Gavin.

P.S. I'm still trying to sort out my ioncube hosting issues separately, but for now I'm just focusing on getting esc working on a development server.

Default

It sounds like a path or variable issue and the calendar doesn't know to show the events.

When the server comes back online, can you provide a link and PM me access to your calendar setup and admin scripts?
