New Install Database error

I reinstalled this morning and used the automatic installer.
All went well until I got th database setup.
Do I need to create a new data base?
I am in Setup manager and have input the old database info.

There was an error connecting to the mySQL database.

The error was reported as:

Access denied for user

You can use the pre-existing database.

Nothing was changed in the code as far as the handling of the mySQL connection.

Please re-check the connection information in the Setup Manager.

When I do the new auto install, is there anything i need to do other than using setup manager?

I opened a new data base because I could not get connected to the old one.

No Big loss because I've never did much with my calendar from ver 6.

If you're using mySQL, everything is handled right in the Setup Manager.
